What are the items shown on the General Information Bar. PPs, DPs, available SMPs (SMP max), STPs available, AIPs available (AIP max)?

Yep, that is correct. There are a couple of things to note:

The STPs re-set immediately after use. For example, if you use 20 of them to ship an infantry corps from Italy to North Africa, you will see your total drop by 20 while the corps is at sea, and then the 20 will re-appear as soon as the transport is unloaded. However, the total STPs may vary from turn-to-turn, since convoys (supply and PP shipments) use them up at the start of the turn. Furthermore, losses in the convoys are taken off the STPs. If you add or delete convoys during a turn, you will see your STPs change even if the convoys take no losses, and losses will drop your STPs even if convoys are not added. Also, shipping units overseas will change supply demands, and impact the size of supply convoys needed/used.

For AIPs, the used points still appear in the max AIPs until the end of the month. This impacts the cost of purchasing more AIPs, so plan your invasions accordingly.

It took me a game or two to get these points, so learn from my confusion, not your own.[;)]

Want to thank ya'll very much for the assist. I had pretty much everything figured out except "DP." That clarification was very usefull as well, Mike.
Im starting a new thread about invasions, and would be greatfull for your help on that as well.
