Does this look like this should be blocked? I have yet to see a blocked field goal....Any suggestions?

Yup, I've seen that too.   Blocking field goals doesn't seem possible

I've never seen it either, and I am also thinking it may not be possible.

I don't think there's a blocked kick animation in the game. I did set up a punt with a long "wait for" command for the punter before he kicked the ball. A defender would break through and tackle the punter before he kicked the ball. The problem was that the ball wouldn't be placed where the punter was tackled and the defensive team given possession at that point. The ball would be placed downfield at a distance from the LOS as though the ball had been kicked. I think that problem was fixed, but since the punter's "wait for" command was put in just for testing purposes, I don't think it ever came up in my subsequent "real" game play.

Blocked kicks would be a great addition to gameplay. Except for FBPRO98, I don't think I've ever seen a blocked kick in any PC or Play Station football game I've played. I have Madden 2002, 2005 & 2006 for PC as well as NCAA Football 2004 & 2005 for Play Station and I've not ever seen a blocked punt or fieldgoal in any of those games. FBPRO98- yes you can get blocked kicks.

I have blocked kicks in Madden, but it is very rare.

in NCAA I've gotten pretty good at blocking kicks, but not punts - unless using a trick such as FG defense against punt I've never seen a blocked punt.

I've blocked a few punts in NCAA, both from a short snap near the goalline and with the full 16 yards, but it's not a common occurance.  On the old PS NCAA 2001 I could block every punt.  Games tend to either be too hard to block kicks, or too easy once you get the trick.
 
I set up a punt in which I tried to get it blocked, and ended up with either a tackled punter or a normal punt.
