Another Mini AAR. Playing PBEM. 1936 start. I'm Allies. Patched up to 1.06.

So far I have managed to destroy 3 tanks, 1 motorised infantry and probably 3 or 4 of my opponent's foot infantry. But the defense of Paris is in dire straights. It is only a matter of time now.

Ah. My esteemed opponent Falco rings in with the evil Axis side of the story!

Next turn. One of my own tanks bites the dust near Paris. A desperate attack by my remaining tank captures Lorraine. That should deny my oppenent a few production points, but, alas Paris is on it's own. If it lasts even one more turn it will be a miracle. But the French have fought a noble battle, buying the rest of the Allies a few precious weeks and costing the Germans some badly needed resources.

Viva la France!!!

So things are looking even more bleak as the defender of Paris begin to take some hits. However, my opponent has an infantry unit next to Paris with a strength of only two. In the next turn my troops in Paris destroy this small rabble and move out of the city so I can place a fresh garrison unit there. They will probably be destroyed the next turn but at least I wiped out another German foot infantry unit, bringing my total destroyed enemy units up to:

3 tanks
1 motorised infantry
Probably 4 foot infantry

I wish there were a casualty screen where I could monitor loses more closely but it appears that the casualty screen in the game presents things in abstract terms of millions of men killed or something like that. THis is of no use to me whatsoever. I'm not sure why the game is designed that way.
