Editor Device "Problem"

I'm trying to add ship classes and I've run into a problem using WIP Scenario Edito 6.0:

When I'm on screen one and have WPN 1 facing set to 00-F and then proceed to add weapons and go to the second screen and add a weapon in WPN 11 with a facing of 05-A that facing ALSO ends up as the facing for WPN 1.

What's wrong?

You are using an official editor - this happens.

It is better to use WITP Editor x.

Where would one obtain this editor?

Thanks

So the official editor has issues?  I was toying with it last night.  I'm having a heck of a time getting to uderstand the Japanese side of this game, I thought I would add a ton of supplies to the Home Islands so I could have some breathing room.  Thats all I did, was change Tokyo & Osaka to 999999 supplies.

Game crashed.

First - a modder is not the master designer of the program. You cannot just do anything you please - but must operate INSIDE the design.

Second - WITP is essentially undocumented code. Even to the extent the original designer once knew something - it may not be that way now - after years of modifications. You more or less have to learn what you can - and then try things - and operate inside the context of how things actually work.

Third - moderation is a virtue.

In general - large supply sources should be on the map edge - should be Allied - and should be places that can get rid of great amounts of stuff appearing every day

In general - the best way to get huge numbers is to arrange for it to arrive daily - not to be a depot stockpile.

Theory: Assigning a pool of 90,000 supply points tells AI "this is a place stuff should move toward" - and the SAME location behaves differently than if it did NOT have that many to start with.

Theory: few locations should ever start with much more than 90,000 supply points - and every exception should be one you have determined will really benefit from - say - 150,000..

The Home Islands will MAKE huge amounts of supply and fuel IF you give them stocks of oil and resource points. Japan DID stockpile oil and resources.
