Well, i'm not calling it that, but it is the test stadium for a series of low-poly, system friendly stadiums I am going to make. I know guys here prefer the 3D fans, so these may not be very popular.
Anyway, this one is my first run through, so it isnt as polished as I would like, but I dont think its horrible.

Perhaps we can come up with a better fan texture to make the low poly stadiums look better.

thats worth thinking on, maybe I could come up with a low res graphic for that
I really should try because I hate the graphic that comes with original stadiums
its just plain awful........ no other word for it

That was my goal. As for the texture, it's the first one I made, just a single crowd texture. I wasnt trying for any particular look. But, I expect people could replace it with one that has a particular color scheme, orangeish for Tennessee, reddish for Ohio State, etc.
I am open to anything you might come up with, Mykal. I think there should be a main texture with the steps, and a texture without the steps, that would go in corners, so I dont have the steps ending abruptly as they do in the ones I have now.
I have one more stadium that I will release shortly. Then, I am going to try and make a replica, to some extent, of an NFL stadium. See how that goes.

One technique to get a better texture is to go into the game and get a screenshot of the 3D fans from the field.  That texture will look more like the 3D fans than just blobs of color.
 

Thats actually a pretty good Idea Marauders
