I read in the manual that Japanese TO&E slots are between 901 and 977.

In the editor however I noticed what appears to be actual ground units starting in slot 968.

Has the slot ranges changed or what?

You're correct. The manual must be wrong...I wonder if 977 is a typo for 966?
