Oh what the hell. I need to learn what MSPaint can do.
Umezu is moving south and west from recently taken Changsha with help from forces along the coast moving south and west from Amoy. Guerrilla activity north has been greatly reduced with several invested pockets. Rail capacity in the north is at 100%.

I'm not familiar with Zero Hour......who's fighting who and what's the background situation etc.?
Cool graphics, BTW.

Glad you asked Larry. Zero Hour is a COW scenario depicting the Pacific theater in WW2. It starts in the first week of July '41. It's been converted to TOAWIII. The graphics come courtesy of JMass and MSPaint, the scenario from Chuck Kortaba. I am playing as Japan with Cesteman as the Allies. I tried the scenario 'Countdown to Infamy' (a Steely Dan fan?)but like many converted scenarios, it glitched; with the Japanese Pearl Harbor strike aircraft returning to attack their own carriers! Being that this scen is slightly less complex, I'm hoping it'll work. We've agreed to attempt to employ some of my 'special naval rules' that represent search aircraft(see thread). Any way, my fingers are crossed. That's a pretty nice scenario you have yourself. Very complex, though with obvious advantages.

Please keep the AAR going. I've wanted to give this one a try once I'm done with a couple of my current PBEM's.

You could accuse me of tipping my hand perhaps, but cheating? No.

It's now November and the Japanese are still advancing in southern China. The Japanese have committed another army group headquarters I have chosen to be led by Gen. Shunroku Hata. Where you see his name on the map, there is actually an invisible guerrilla unit. The previous turn the Japanese attacked this unit located on an escarpment, taking heavy losses in the process. It's probably time to start thinking about the larger war on the horizon.

It's now 19 Nov 41 and the Japanese advance continues amid word that Hideki Tojo has been appointed prime minister and FDR has issued an executive order to freeze all Japanese assets. Negotiations have broken down.

Wow!
This scenario looks fantastic.
Can you play against the PO as Allied, Axis or both?
And where can I download the TOAW III version from?
I looked at Rugged Defense website and the only download was for COW.
Cheers
