looking for Allied opponent

Hi, I've played a few PBEM games but it has been about a year since. I'd like to find an opponent to play the allies - either CHS 155 or 157 - prefer 157.

Would also prefer 2 day turns. Open even to taking over an existing game if someone is looking.

I prefer some house rules to be used where the game model tends to go astray.

1) Air to air - prefer something like NikMod or Big B for the air to air model. With Nikmod, flak stacking would be needed.

2) No 4E below 7,000 ft b/c of the flak gap. No 4E naval below 10K or 15K, No B29 on naval.

3) A/C stacking - 50x airfield size, max 450 in a hex (ie about 5-6 Essex class CV).

4) Resource/city bombing - 1,000 sps to repair an oil/res is a little steep at the rate of 1 per day. I saw somewhere an idea of limiting strategic bombing against the Allies in China and limited against the Japanese outside the home islands. I would propose no japanese bombing of res/hi in China and no allied bombing of more than 50% of the res/oil centers outside the home islands (ie when bombed to 50% or below, no more raids). Japanese HI, air, engine, yard, manpower unlimited destruction.

5) Japanese ASW aircraft - Helen's and other Army bombers are too effective. Propose some stacking limit or some limit on the number of army AC groups that may be on ASW or Naval search.

6) Land stacking - don't like the idea of 200,000 troops on an atoll or even Iwo Jima? I agree. Maybe some limit on atoll stacking and one-hex island stacking. 25,000 per atoll; 100,000 per one hex island?

7) Pace of amphibious operations - seems to be too high. It's too easy to unload everything in massive TFs. Maybe something like amphibious ships only to land troops (AP, APA, LS, Barge, DD, CL, APD types...). AKs may unload supplies.

8) ASW TFs - no more than 6 ships per TF, no more than 1 ASW TF per hex.

First turn movement for Japan -
- no more than 1 port attack
- won't move past line Rabaul-Sorong-Kendari-Tarakan-SW Borneo-Singapore
- limited pearl harbor raid - ie no more than say 2 days then must return to base and no move past east of pearl harbor

VANED74,

Im up for a game of CHS 155 if you are still looking for an opponent. My last game of CHS 157 seemed to have overpowered AA. 2 day turns sounds great. I will send a pm.
