Probably because they want to release the old versions for free for Christmas.. wouldn't that be nice   Of course I have no clue but I had both games and no longer have Danger Forward and want to buy it again but can't and no news at all on this series here.

Possibly contract issues?

This is game is ancient technology.

SSG's games, "Battlefront" and "Kharkov, Disaster on the Donetz" are similair to and yet 5,000 times better than, this game.

I have most of the SSG games, not all but most and I do have the 2 you mention although I like SSG I like the Combat Command Series as it runs in any resolution unlike SSG and it runs like a native windows application like Excel, etc.   Makes it so much easier to use on a laptop, low memory footprint, load like a normal business app and runs in any screen size I want... love it for that and the game is fun to play.

Well - they removed the game from the market months ago - and there has singularly failed to be any response for all that time of some update as to what is happening.

How long would it take for someone to come here and post something ... anything indeed ... that they havent - for a commercial company IS stupid... sorry - but I call em as I see em...

I will jump in...

Work on Horse and Musket is coming before any action on Combat Command. The process has been much slower than expected on hnM due to the updated graphics taking much longer than expected, and my deployment to Iraq.

HnM is close to being ready, and then we will revisit CC.

Appreciate the update and good luck in IRAQ. My son got back a year ago and is now headed to Afghanistan.
