I Can See the Spires...

I'm going where many have tread before with this sitch:

Second Oct turn, mud again. Moscow 1 hex away from 3 potential prongs of attack. NO Soviet air presence Lenningrad to Rostov. The tactical approach I took to this game was destruction and harrasment of enemy HQ's even thr my current turn, which I was wondering...will this delay his air power substantially? His usual stalwarts of Bryansk and West fronts are unmolested and inactive as of yet, but a lot of my panzer thrusts resulted in big success in other areas of attack and my line is stable waiting for the damn snow! Once again, he let the Finns gobble up the Lenningrad front on the ground.

I realize I could be eating rotten cabbage in Siberia by '43, but I feel the gamble could work. I guess I long for human opposition, but I'm not ready to roll until I lick this dreaded AI. Please advise or send condolences.

Thanks

Russian Air force should be still in training in most eastern HQs. Expect them to arrive during russian winter offencive. Also, if not already, hold your offencive (at least on strategic scale) and start prepering (means allow your troops to dig in well) for blizzard... or you may in for nasty surprise...

Thanks for the reply. That was my last forray into the 3.1 version.
My basic goal at this point is to try and implement some various ways of attack in the old game with the update. I still have much to learn, but I do think it possible to win this game in '41 against the AI.
