Hi, I guess you forgot about the rules on this forum. This thread did not start out as a political thread, but you sure turned it into one with this post.
Hi, I guess you're not counting apathetic lurker's mention of "Reinhard Heydrich", or Widell's mention of "WWII Germany, Rwanda, the former Yugoslavia" and their associated "psychopaths and maniacs".
Consider yourself warned. While you're at it, please change your avatar and take the political show link out of your signature. Thanks.
Uh no, I don't think I'll change my avatar "while I'm at it", as I think it's funny. I don't think you have a problem with it either, you're just being vindictive.
As for my sig line, it's staying too. We are not at the point yet in this country where people can be told to shut up, or else...
However, since this is your company website, I will bid you adieu.

BTW, the vast bulk of my gaming money goes to HPS, a company that produces near bug-free games and does not use their customers as playtesters. In addition, they're smart enough not to maintain a company forum, which means they spend their day producing a quality product, instead of policing their customers political opinions.

Sorry mate, but you won't get much sympathy playing the "free speech" card in relation to politics here. Matrix have held this position for a while to keep the forums 'clean', and they do so for a reason. Once upon a time there was a general forum and the result was carnage on a scale you wouldn't believe, and much stuff totally unsuited to a family audience. Since then, people wishing to participate in such things have been quietly guided to Mad Cow's Steakhouse.

This is intended to be a family friendly forum. We've always tried to keep things clean and your avatar is clearly a step beyond that. While I've watched the family guy a few times, I wouldn't watch it with my son and that's why it doesn't belong here. Your other posts called my attention to your name and caused me to notice your avatar. I was not being vindictive, but rather enforcing all our rules.

Discussion of historical WWII persons and events is far different from discussion of current events and statements calling the current President of the US a war criminal and claiming that 9/11 was some kind of hoax. If that's not a violation of the no politics policy, I don't know what is. Granted, even WW2 discussion can sometimes go over the line into offensiveness, but that's a lot harder to achieve than what you posted. After taking note of your post and your avatar, I thought I should also follow the link in your signature. Just as we try to keep posting on politics to a minimum, we try to keep political signatures or links to a minimum as well.

Since you don't seem inclined to take heed of my warning or to abide by the rules we have here, I'm going to have to ban your account. If you change your mind in the future, you should know that an e-mail to me with a statement that you'll abide by our rules will get your account reinstated.

Locking this thread.

Regards,

- Erik
