I know they had some historically. With the new no CP naval units passing Gibraltar rule, how can the CP manage to get U-Boats in the Mediterrainain Sea?

The Austians have sufficient resources to build U-boats?!? I should think their priorities would be land based.

After annexing Serbia and Romania Austria can run up a surplus of RMs and transfer them to Germany. In turn Germany can then transfer IPs to Austria to build naval points. I personally have not done this as I don't see a big advantage to operating U-boats in the Med. But it can be done.

Would subs in Med. might be useful to contest CP amphibius operations? Is there any French transport requirement to move their North African forces to France? What DO the French get by having shipping in the Med.?

I suppose it would have some chance of interdicting transport assigned to amphibious missions.

The best way to deter invasions is to control or at least contest the sea zone.

There is no transport requirement for any scheduled French reinforcements. Only American and Canadian corps which arrive in North America need to use transport to get to Europe. If the French have two transports on shipping mission in the Western Med. they will get some resources from Africa.
