Screen Display

Hi all:

Just purchased the game, v1.21 and upgraded to v1.3 Public Beta and I have some questions:

The game launches and in the main screen there is now a box where you can chose "Original" or "Alternate" what are the differences?

Second and kind of anoying when I press continue the next screen doesn't fit completely in my flat screen, my max resolution is 1024*768 and its the one I click on.

I'm afraid it's the way the game is designed since I have done a quick search and found that the screenshots here tm.asp?m=1523335 show the same problem.

The fact is that scrolling the map with the cursor is very tedious since if you slip out of the game screen it doesn't move, need to use the arrow keys.

Is there any way so that the game fits completely into the screen just like the main menu does?

If not any plans on changing the game resolution so it would?

Thanks

That looks about right I think. I wanted to leave some room so as to see the Windows taskbar even though that can be different sizes. As for the width, I could add a few pixels.

Thank for the reply Frank, if you made the width a little bit bigger that'd be great, I don't mind the task bar as much as the sides.

For now I have found that even when my screen doesn't suppor a higher resolution than 1024*768 playing at 1280*800 works almost perfect, I lose info on my right side but I can scroll up down and left and the game fits in the screen.

Maybe its time to retire my 5 year old monitor and send it with my old pc to my mother's in law village for those weekend at the country side and get a new one [:D]

Now on to reading the manual see if I can get the hang of the game [:)]

Regards

Version 1.30f (latest beta) cuts off part of the map on right (east) and bottom (south) edges. The view as optimally set on my machine was less wide than I might have liked, but atleast I could see all of it.

No matter what resolution I run, when I click on a stack of 3+ I can not see all unit details. Last unit's half is obscured by game frame.
Latest version 1.31
(I'd like to see a 1920x1200 res if possible)
