Hello again.

I see there are not posts in the PBEM sections for AARs, etc., And no one has posted anything about how well the play balance is for PBEM. And this game started as an "AI only" game.

I thought I read almost all the posts, is there something I am missing about the PBEM part of this game?

The AAR vs the AI for this looked very interesting, but I judge a game based on its PBEM abilities.

Can someone give me some input on this?

Thanks again.

We've been playing this game extensively since it was released, only PBEM. We can vote for a very high fun factor, even though one might have wished for a slightly more advanced interaction between land, air and naval units.

Regarding the question on balance, it's difficult to say. I think the original setting is fairly balanced. I couldn't say for sure, though, since patches and other interruptions prevented us from reaching further than 1942 in the first playing period. We have now modded units characteristics, combat system, OOB's and so on, and are now rather a long way from the original, playtested official version. As a guess I would say that the game will play rather balanced if you skip the Scandinavian and Balkan campaigns, i.e. if Germany go through Poland and France and then attack USSR. But it is only a guess!

Thank you both for that excellent reply.

I will stick around and wait for an english PBEM. I could not figure out one word in Polish except for Hitler and Francja, etc., It seems something was going on in North Africa, which is a good thing. I wish I could understand what impact that African action was having on the total campaign.

Thanks again

WOW!!! I had no idea translation stuff like that existed. That is INCREDIBLE.., thank you!!

I am very close to picking up this game.., I been waiting for CoG Emperor's Edition, but I think that is going to take a lot longer then anticipated.
And the WiTP Admiral's Edition., which I doubt I can comprehend.., man, these games are addictive.

Thank you Anraz

I have not bought it.  I like PBEM, so until I see some detailed feedback on how the PBEM balance is, I am going to just sit back and wait for COG Emperor's Edition and WiTP Admiral.

Thanks for the reply and have a great weekend.
