I was wondering if anyone could make for me the 1948 calgary stampeders helmet. It is just a simple old-time helmet with red stripes going around. Thanks.

I put this uniform together very quickly. Is this kind of what you had in mind for the helmet? If so, I'll post the helmet on FBMAX.

would there be any way to make another two stripes across, that way there is another stripe on every quarter of the helmet. Thanks for the help.

I haven't been able to figure out how to do the extra stripes as yet. The helmet template looks flat & 2D. It's not that way at all. Please see the screenshot below. The image on top shows the 3D structure of the helmet. The bottom image is my template for making the basic leather helmet. Note how the horizontal striping is offset. To create the stripes that bisect the cross stripe pattern would not be easy. It would take some time and trial and error to do it. It's something that I might work on, because that stripe pattern was common.

Thanks for all the help old coach. I have been trying a bit now too, but I am really no expert on graphics. I thought if I based it on the bengals helmet that it might work but I have had no such luck with that diagonal stripe

That leather helmet template is posted on FBMAX. Download that and play with it some. Your Bengal helmet stripes might work with some tweaking and patience. If you'd like, I could send the template straight to you if you PM me and give me your email address.
