Well, here goes nothing. I'm going to start posting about my managed game association, borrowing liberally and shamelessly from LetsPlay2's format. [:D] This first one is going to be rather experimental, so expect to see edits. Criticism and suggestions welcome!

I'm almost finished with May, 1905. [:D] You're going to surpass me in no time since I'm playing all of the Cardinals' games. I thought about turning them over to the computer but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, not after already playing out every game for 5 seasons. I imagine your results will be much different than mine, as I've tweaked the sliders a little bit each season, trying to get a better deadball era simulation. Having a player hit 45 home runs in 1901 was just killing the immersion for me!

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates {29-14} have taken over 1st, with a 3.5 game lead over the Chicago Cubs {26-18}. Our St. Louis Cardinals {23-20} have pushed their way to 4th place and are 6 games out of 1st.

American League

The Cleveland Blues {29-12} have increased their lead to 4.5 games over the Boston Americans {25-17}.

[center]Monthly Report - June 1905[/center]

National League

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates {47-22} continue to dominate, increasing their lead to 7 games over the Chicago Cubs {40-29}. Our St. Louis Cardinals {35-35} have fought their way to 3rd place but are now 12.5 games out of 1st. They had a difficult month, playing 22 straight days without a break. Other teams have had a rough month, as well. The Boston Beaneaters {30-39} went 7-14 on the road, and though the Cincinnati Reds {29-38} went 12-6 at home they just can't seem to make any progress. The last place New York Giants {28-41} went 8-16 on the road. The Philadelphia Phillies {33-35} fell to 4th place, going 4-15 on the road.

American League

The Boston Americans {43-25} went 18-8 to take over 1st place from the Cleveland Blues {39-27}. The Chicago white Sox {29-39} fell from 4th to last place with a 7-18 record.

National League

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates {63-34} are starting to look unbeatable, increasing their lead to 9 games over the Chicago Cubs {54-43}. Our St. Louis Cardinals {49-48} are still holding on to 3rd place, but have fallen to 14 games out of 1st. My own future with the organization may be in jeopardy if I can't turn this team around and get them moving forward instead of backward. The Boston Beaneaters {46-51} went 6-2 on the road to preserve their 6th place position. The New York Giants {43-54} went 13-6 at home (2-7 on the road) to move up to 7th place. The Cincinnati Reds {39-56} went 5-15 away from home to continue their descent, ending the month with the worst record in the association.

American League

The Cleveland Blues {55-39} have taken back 1st place from the Boston Americans {55-40}, though the lead is only .5 games. The New York Highlanders {47-47} fell from 3rd to 4th, due to a 6-14 record on the road. (They went 6-1 at home.) The Washington Senators {44-51} went 4-2 at home to move up one spot to 5th place. The Philadelphia Athletics {43-51} went 5-1 at home but 7-14 on the road to drop one place to 6th. The Chicago White Sox {43-52} went 3-6 on the road, which wasn't bad enough to keep them moving from last place to 7th. The St. Louis Browns {42-54} went 2-4 on the road, which helped drop them to last place in their league.

National League

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates (79-47} have lost a little ground to the Chicago Cubs {71-53}, who went 10-4 at home, leaving Pittsburgh with only a 7 game lead going into the final stretch of the season. Our St. Louis Cardinals {58-66} have fallen to 5th place, going 9-18 for the month, including 2-11 at home. My resignation letter just needs a signature. I've been given the condition that if I can get the team to finish in at least 3rd place I might still have a job. The Boston Beaneaters {65-60} went 19-9 to move into 3rd place. The Brooklyn Superbas {56-67} went 3-10 at home to drop to 6th, and are currently on a 5 game losing streak.

American League

The Cleveland Blues {65-55} and Boston Americans {67-54}, continue to trade 1st place back and forth, partially due to Cleveland going 4-10 at home this month. Boston currently leads Cleveland by 1 game. The Philadelphia Athletics {60-61} went 10-4 at home, which helped them move to within 7 games of 1st place. The final weeks are going to be fierce in the American League, with the top 6 teams all having good chances of getting 1st place. The Chicago White Sox {60-61} went 17-9 for the month, including a 8-4 home record, enough to move them up 2 more places to 4th.

National League

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates {99-55} are returning to the World Series for the 3rd time in as many seasons, but this time they are returning as the defending champions. They have also achieved the best record of any team to date, winning 99 games this season. Our St. Louis Cardinals {66-88} finished in dead last. My bags are packed and I am scanning the classifieds.

American League

The Boston Americans {87-67} are going to their first World Series, after a tough 3 way battle between them, the Cleveland Blues {81-73}, and the Detroit Tigers {83-71}.

[center]Monthly Report - April 1906[/center]

National League

The Cincinnati Reds {13-5} are off to an early lead this season, garnering an 8-2 home record for a 2 game lead over the Brooklyn Superbas {10-6}, who went 6-2 at home. Our St. Louis Cardinals {7-10} are off to a slow start, which may only get worse, as the transition from April to May sees us in the middle of 33 straight games without a day off. The 3rd place Chicago Cubs {9-7} had a nice 7-3 month at home. The 4th place New York Giants {8-8} had a mixed month, going 6-2 at home but countering that with a 6-2 road record. All other teams in the league are below .500, with the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates {5-12} dead last.

American League

The Philadelphia Athletics {11-3} are leading the league at the end of the month, going 8-3 at home and 3-0 on the road, and are leading the Cleveland Blues {8-4} by 2 games. 3rd place is held by the Detroit Tigers {8-6}, who went 2-5 at home but 6-1 on the road. The league champion Boston Americans {8-7} went 3-1 at home to claim 4th and the last team over .500.

The Cincinnati Reds {29-16} went 4-1 on the road to help maintain their 2 game lead over the Brooklyn Superbas {26-17}. Our St. Louis Cardinals {16-31} are an utter disgrace, with a 9-21 record for the month of May, including a 6-18 record at home. This puts them in dead last, 14 games out of 1st place. The Philadelphia Phillies {17-25} remain the team we are chasing.With a 3-6 home record they aren't doing much better than we are.

American League

The Philadelphia Athletics {28-14} are still in 1st place at the end of the month, leading the Cleveland Blues {24-17}, who went 9-4 at home, by 3.5 games. The Chicago White Sox {16-24} went 8-15 on the road to fall from 5th to 7th place. Like their counterparts in the National Leauge, the St. Louis Browns {13-28} are in last place, with an 8-20 record for the month, with all but one loss occurring on the road.

The Chicago Cubs {45-25} have switched places with the Cincinnati Reds {40-31}, taking over 1st place after going 18-7 in June, including 7-0 record at home. They lead the Brooklyn Superbas {41-28}, who went 12-6 at home, by 3.5 games. Our St. Louis Cardinals {24-47} just get worse and worse, going 8-16 for the month, and ending June on a 7 game losing streak and 21.5 games out of 1st place. The New York Giants {38-31} are still in 4th place and the last team above .500 this season.

American League

The Detroit Tigers {41-27} have taken over 1st place, going 15-7 at home. They lead the Philadelphia Athletics {41-28} by only 0.5 games, however.

The Chicago Cubs {66-32} had a great month, with 21 wins and only 7 losses (13-5 at home, 8-2 on the road), have stretched their league lead to 8.5 games, with the New York Giants {57-40} taking over 2nd place after going 19-9 in July (8-4 at home, 11-5 on the road). Our St. Louis Cardinals {36-63} continue to move farther and farther from 1st. The only team doing worse in baseball is the other team from St. Louis.

American League

The Philadelphia Athletics{59-36} have retaken 1st place from the Detroit Tigers {56-38}, going 15-7 at home and 18-8 overall for the month. The New York Highlanders {40-55} went 5-11 at home, 9-17 overall, to fall one place to 7th. The worst team in baseball, the St. Louis Browns {32-63} went 6-15 on the road, 6-20 overall, to hold last place in their league, just like their National League counterparts.

National League

The New York Giants {70-53} used an 8-3 home record to move within 7 games of the 1st place Chicago Cubs {78-47} as we go into the final weeks of the 1906 season. The season is all but over for our St. Louis Cardinals {43-82} as we go into September 35 games out of 1st place. But the other team from St. Louis is still doing worse. The Cincinnati Reds {67-58} had an 8-4 home record in August to move into 3rd place, 11 games behind the Cubs. They were helped by the Brooklyn Superbas {63-60} going 8-18 for the month, including a 3-11 home record. Brooklyn is the last team in the league to finish the month above .500. The Philadelphia Phillies {57-65} had an amazing month, winning 20 of 26 games (11-3 at home, 9-3 on the road), moving up to 6th place.

American League

The Philadelphia Athletics {77-45} increased their lead to 9 games, going 10-3 at Columbia Park (18-9 overall). The Detroit Tigers {64-56} did just the opposite, going 3-10 on the road and 8-18 overall to fall from 2nd place to 4th. All other teams in the American League have a winning percentage of less than .500. The New York Highlanders {57-65} went 10-5 at home to move back up to 6th place. St. Louis is still the most shameful city
in baseball, with it's American League team, the St. Louis Browns {41-80} went 4-8 on the road, 9-17 overall, to hold their position as the worst team in the association.
