Didn't the Burma Road keep China in the War? If the infrastructure could also be a factor, that would be great!

The Burma Road was reopened about mid-1944. It helped, but wasn't the primary factor.

Still, the CBI could use some finer control. Who's to say that the US couldn't have directed more tanks and planes to the Chinese? It should be an option, anyhow, though I know it's probably beyond the scope of AE.
On that note, one of the things I want most for WitP 2 is monsoon season in Burma. That shut the theatre down for about half the time.
(And the 44 Japan earthquakes, but ya know..)

Wouldnt have been practical for the same reason as the USAAF used Guam / Saipan / Tinian as a base rather than Shangrila. Fuel. Wasnt a lot of gas stations in China and they used 5 gallons of gas to bring in 1 (seriously).

So AE will not have a monsoon weather effect? I seached the threads but could find where the question had been asked, but not where it had been answered.
