Supply trouble

I am actually playing a mod which is based on CHS 155.
And i have some strange thing with supply.
2 examples:
i suddenly lost about 10000 supplies at Soerabaya as i was unloading (and not loading)
supply at this base. I made the check with others bases of Java. No explanation[&:]
And now, i suddenly received about 30000 supplies at San diego, coming from nowhere.
Here again, i made the check with others bases of West Coast, no explanation at all, it seems coming directly from Mars[:(]
Has everyone saw such a thing at WitP?

I can't offer an explanation, but I note that in the Soerabaja example there are other curious events taking place on the same day as the supply drop. First, your resources drop to 62 then rise in a day to 5282. Second, within a 3-day period, your oil rises from 900 to 28131 then immediately falls back to 12611. The resource level change could due to unloading a TF (but why the initial drop to 62?), but the oil fluctuations don't look as though they can be explained by loading/unloading operations. Might there be a connection with the supply problem?

Hi Local Yokel
yes, you are right.
In fact, this day, i was loading resource and unloading oil from small tankers
with the intention to embark it in big tankers for Aden.
So, i first thought that there were hidden supplies in the resource TF (when there is
resources AND supply in the same ship and the number is white OR orange; in fact, it was orange);
that's why i immediately unloaded resources on base but without success.[:(]
So, the drop to 62 is logical as is the raise to 5282 1 day after.
And for the oil, it is the same. Every thing is clear.
I remenber now that the same day, i was loading supplies at Colombo and strangely,
1 ship had loaded resources.
I have noticed a similar thing on west coast with fuel now.
In these days, West coast is receiving about 6500 fuel a day. However, between
the turn 26 and the turn 28, i have loaded 27000 fuel in a TF.
So, at turn 28, i should have 2254727 + 2x6500 - 27000 = 2240727 instead of 2230922.
There is a lack of 10000.
I am playing WitP for many years, it is the first time i see such things. It is like the game
makes confusion between supply, fuel, oil and resource.
Thank you for your remarks.

I have clicked on a hex without a base in California!
Here is the screen:
my question is: what are these 100222 supply pts?
I have checked, no base on west coast has 100222 supply pts.
But there is more strange.
I have done the same in Sumatra on an other hex without any base.
Here is the screen.
And there are always these 100222 supply.
And a last screen in India.
and everywhere with no base, it is the same.
All around the map, there is no base with 100222 supply pts in.
[X(][X(][X(]
What does it mean?

i think that the total is either the amount of supply for troops under the same HQ, or total supply for everyone... not a useful number so i've never bothered to chase it down.

This phenomena is usually attributable to the simultaneous gaining of a coastal gun with load cost 9999. So check and see if you are now the proud processor of one more coastal gun nearby the spot where the 10K supply disappeared!

jwilkerson, you are in gold[&o]
here is the proof
If you could have such an explanantion to the other trouble on west coast
(where there are a lot of CD guns)and the 30000 free supply, it just appears once more but at LA this time.

Well check all the bases on the West Coast, maybe one of them is set the "auto-generate" supply. You can check the editor and/or the base screens for each base.

"Auto generate" supply, ... i don't know what you are talking about.
For LA, here are the screens:
as you can see, LA is receiving 5000 supply a day.
But in the same time, i am making repairing of the 5 resource centers
and the 2 aircraft factories (P-39 and Boston);
So in the same time, LA is losing 7000 supply pts a day.
(In fact, a little bit less as HI centers and Resource centers are working a little bit
with a great excess of oil).
So, we should expect a slow decrease (about 2000 pts a day) of the supply stack at LA.
It was the case for example from the turn 17 till the turn 29
but suddenly, nearly 30000 supply coming from no where[X(]
The same thing did appear 2 days ago at San Diego, it is clear with WitP Tracker.
It is annoying as i wanted to simulate a slow increase of US industry at the beginning of the war.

Add up ALL the supply being autogenerated on the West Coast. The "Supply AI" can move it pretty much anywhere it wants to instantly. So you really need to deal with the whole total, not just one base.

It is done on the last screen of my last post with WitP Tracker.
All US bases on west coast AND all canadian bases in Canada are together in "West Coast"
group in WitP Tracker. So, for the last turn for example, i know that addition of all supply available in west coast of USA and Canada is around 555000.
What i don't understand is why there are 2 jump in supply at turn 28 and turn 30 for this group.
And looking carefully, i know that the one of the turn 28 was at San Diego, the second one (turn 30), at LA. WitP Tracker is wonderfull for that.
Of course, there were no TF unloading supply.

So what is the total amount of auto-generated supply (as defined in the editor) for all of your West Coast bases?

Around 17000 a day, to be precise 15250 for west coast and 1305 for Canada.
In the same time, i am repairing roughly speaking, 22 centers for both west coast and Canada. I mean resource centers and aircraft factories.
So, i am at present time in deficit. Of course, i can stop any repairing when i want.
