Hello,

A friend and I have been playing CEAW for quite some time now over PBEM, but have recently been affected by a number of "Game created in previous version" errors in our most recent game. We both have 1.07 installed and use XP, and nothing has changed in our respective setups over the course of our game play.

We played one full game previously using 1.07, and had a couple such errors. In this game, however, the frequency has really picked up, forcing us to replay many turns (as many as 1 in 3).

Any idea how to fix this or prevent it from happening?

Do you see any pattern to when this happens and when it doesn't? Are you using the same file names, saving to the same directory etc?

Actually, we seem to have resolved the problem (it related to your second question)...
