Some questions

Hello,
I am wondering if I will buy this game or not. I just tested the demo, but it is already a very old version, and I am not very satisfied of it (although I think that the game has a very good potential). I am wondering if the most recent version of the game propose:
1- Improved graphics
2- New choice of screen resolutions, with better management of 16:9 resolution
Cheers,

Yes and yes but this game still has issues so I don't recommend it unless they get fixed.

This statement is incorrect. [:-]
There is currently a Beta patch being offered and tested which corrects problems during the games dynamic campaign. That clearly debunks such abandonment assertions.
As a modder, there are
no problems. Starshatter is a great platform for creating ones own sci-fi space battle game.
If you are a gamer that needs "walkthroughs" and "cheat codes" to play or finish a game, I would not recommend Starshatter. It has neither.

Track Ir never functioned properly. If there is a battle with more than 20 ships, the game crashes. When you edit a mission, the ships often do what they want them.
I bought starshatter 4.0 and Gathering Storm. All textures are improved, the errors are the same.
Do you speak of mods? Why I do a mod, if the game is not complete.
Where is the mod called Star Wars Destiny? Try to create a mission such as the XWA, and you will see your desktop.
No need cheats codes, you do not know me

"Do you speak of mods? Why I do a mod, if the game is not complete."
The game
is complete. I have personally completed
two whole fleet mods with some very large missions included and they run perfectly. I've also contributed substantially to other mods for Starshatter. I am a very experianced modder for Starshatter. I know what I am talking about.
I stronly suspect that any game problems experianced lie in the version of the game one has. Version 5.02 seems to be the problem. That was the one in which they added TrackIR. TrackIR's addition seemed to cause problems
I ran version 5.0.1(pre TrackIR)
only until the 5.0.3 Beta patch was made available. I now run it and the game still runs fine. I've never had any problem with versions 5.0.1 or 5.0.3.
There is a
Star Wars Destiny mini mod available on
www.starshattermods.com.
If version 5.0.2 is the current version available for purchase, I wouldn't buy it until the beta 5.0.3 patch is officially implimented.
No, thankfully, I don't know you, nor do I care to. You come across as a incompetent sniveling whiner.

Well I will probably wait for the version 5.0.3. The best would be to update the demo, at least with the latest graphic improvements...
By the way, that's just a game. Don't be agressive if you do not like it.

Yea, the beta patch that doesn't show as an available download and has bugs of its own from what I have read.

Careful, do not say anything or be insulted. Great Game!! If you speak well of STGS, okay. If not....
I liked this game, had potential, but do not receive the support it deserves. Let's be realistic, I am not going to fix it with mods. you do? okay, perfect! And put it in starshattersmods.com , great!
I think this game a scam with respect to the first, and I'm not insulting. [:-]
