Gentlemen,

Great game! very enjoyable!

Yes, i read the book and "read me". Still I have not seen mention in them where either transports or airborne units are shown and used. Presently trying to cross into asian turkey at bosporus (istanbul) from Bulgaia.

Have also watched the computer move armies around but i cant seem to figure out how to load and then deploy land armies no a ship.

I cant seem to cross at istanbul although i can cross with armies at copenhagen , Denmark without difficuly.

how do i get into turkey from the bulgaria side ? Will the same difficulty apply when going from Denmark to Sweden.

Needless to say I never got into Norway either.

Thanks, if anybody out there can advise me on the mechanics of actually getting a land unit onto a transport by moving into a harbor , well, I would really appreciate that after scratching my head all weekend.

:>

thanks,
bob

Bob - Here's the deal, you have to declare war against Yugosolivia, or use the Italian Ports to transport your armies to Turkey. Once a Land unit is adjacent to a friendly port, then the Ship Transport button (Circular Arrow - on the Units Page, next to the Railroad Transportation Button) is available. If you push this than the unit transforms into a transport. Travel next to the land mass you want to invade and press the button again. Be advised, if you dont bring AIR support then you will have a rough go, as the land units need a supply point (a captured enemy City) to remain effective.
