Ok, the IJN had a couple of very bad run-in's with the USN resulting in several CV air units left without flattops. Fortunately they were within flying distance to a friendly base. So I ended up with several air units that are reasonbly strong on pilots but short a/c (bigtime). I've since ferried them to Tokyo but can't seem to get them to want to accept additional a/c. Can't figure out why ?

Any explanations ? [&:]

Fragments will not ever accept replacement a/c.........only thing you can do is disband them into another unit of the same type.

If allies, save the fragments for when the respawn CV arrives..........but as the IJN, well you have lots of good pilots.

The parent part always goes down with the ship.........so those units are only good to beef up other units now.
