I noticed you could equip two pistols and possibly 2 of the smaller mini style SMG. When you do this and your ambidextrous do you fire both at the same time for a set ap, or do you have to fire them seperately? How does this work. I haven't tried in game yet, thought I might see what others have to say about how effective this might be vs everyone carrying assault rifles or sniper.

I was wondering about this, too. But I haven't been brave(or foolish) enough to try it in the game yet.

Maybe it related to skill AMBIDEXT, This skill mean your merc can use both hand equally well. Anyway, I amnot try it yet.

I actually tried to see what happened with one of my pistol mercs. He only fired the one pistol. Don't know if it has anything to do with one being a revolver and one being a semi, but he only fired the revolver with both equipped. Was unable to tell if there was any accuracy penalty or conversely any bonus to having something equipped there (the bonus being the APs taken to switch weapons over simply reloading).

I wonder if it only fires whichever weapon is in the right hand. I say this because it requires you to place the medi kit or grenade in the right hand before you can use them, so I bet the same thing goes for weapons.

The other slot seems to be a holster more then anything. You can move your Rifle there and pull out a Hand grenade and toss it then Left click on the weapon in the lower slot to pull out the weapon again. I've tried afew times to use Dual handguns and Dual small SMGs and it hasn't worked for me. Might be something that was going to be added and never got added.
Much Love,

Yea, Ambidex doesn't do anything.
