Units outlined in yellow are typically out of supply. All other units should be able to trace a normal supply route to a depot. If a depot is outlined in yellow then this means it is a new depot and cannot be a link to a supply chain BUT must be at the end of a supply chain until next turn.

Also if you click the 'view units' icon it gives you a list of units an includes their supply status.

Also if you click on a unit during a land phase it should give you details for that unit. Something to watch is the distance from a depot, which makes a big difference in the cost of supply.

Actually this is something that annoys me a little. If a unit will automatically make its foraging roll it shows as 'Auto !' but there is no indication of how much the roll would be made by. So if you want ot know how far you can move the unit and still auto-make the forgaing roll you either have to mentally calculate it or move it space by space and then retract your move when it is no longer auto.

It would be really helpful if it could say something like 'Auto(2)' indicating how 'auto' the roll is. I think I'll put this onto Mantis.
