How do you order your units, including naval. to move in a certain path inorder to avoid combat from a force that a certain route would entail? thanks!!!!

?? Just move them on whatever path you want. If you want to go from A to Z, you can go first from A to B, B to C, C to D, ... or whatever is necessary to get to Z by whatever path you want.

Now, bomber and airborne missions, on the other hand, don't have any capacity for waypoints, unfortunately.

Note that the formation will only follow waypoints B thru Y if, and only if, B thru Y are enemy controlled. If any of these points are friendly controlled they are ignored and the formation will find its own way to the next enemy controlled waypoint. This self described path may not correspond to the designer’s intended path.

That the intended path is negated when the intervening waypoints are friendly controlled has previously been identified as a problem, however, the consensus of the forum was that no problem existed.

You're talking about the PO's operation. I understood his question to be how he could personally move his own units via waypoints.

Now that I've reread the original posting . . . you are probably correct.
