Hello!

Do you know that AI can execute airborne operations in WIR 3.2?

I dont believe it, but it is really! Now in 1942 campaign (I play Soviet) 3 korps of Germany Landing in Rzhev, Tula and about Moskow behind my defensive positions. Germany can drop 20 tanks on parashute 8).

I can send two files (one - before click combat, second - immediately after end of combat session).
I can't believe that this behavior of AI is possible 8)

Sorry for my terribel English.

Regards,
moi

Hello Moi,

This is a known problem, but Arnaud hasn't found the cause yet. It normally happens when the weather changes to mud, I think, but there could be other situations where it does so. It also seems to only do the move into ungarrisoned cities normally. Anyway, it is a problem buried in the AI code, which is tough for Arnaud to dig into. Sorry there is no solution to it yet.

You wouldn't expect a decent commander to make an airborne assault against a heavily defended area. Only Montgomery do that...

No, AI can transfer unit not only city. In current game he does it 4 times and only 2 - to the city.

Unfortunately, that can't happen.
