In my last update of the scénario WaW 35c Bebert's mod, I have a problem.

If "screenshot" is selected like that:

This happens:

But if "screenshot" is not selected, all is correct, I can play.

Do you know what goes wrong? Maybe it is my own, but I don't undersatnd why....[&:]

You could also try switching of any protection software against other applications writing to your harddrive if you have any.

And? [:D]

So, I use windows XP, my RAM is 896 MB, with a dual hardcore AMD Atlon 1,6 Ghz.

But the same happens on the computer on another player. I don't have any detail about his PC.

Well, if we don't select "screenshots", all is fine.

Vic, where are you? Are yous still here? Maybe are you sleeping...[>:][:D]

I think I have missed something in my review of the scen, but I don't know what. The scenario WaW ver 35 bebert's mod is upload in the sandbox of the scen bank of the AT site. But if you can have just a look about that, and maybe tell me what's wrong, I will be happy. So, I am yet happy with your game, but I will be MORE happy [;)]

1. Try the screenshot option on a really small map. like 20x20. to see if it fails there too.

2. Copy & Paste the full text of the error message please

kind regards,
Vic

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:
<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I understand nothing of that...[&:]

So if you do not select "passwords" you dont get the bug?

I have the bug with or without password, but only if "screenshots" is selected, when I press "strat turn" before the firts german turn (that is the first player turn in this scen), and only with the version 35c version of WaW, not with other version of the scenario WaW (my former version 35a, or version 33 or 34). If "screenshots" is not selected, all is fine. So I guess the new version doesn't support "screenshots" option, but I would like understand why, eventually fix it (if it is possible), and I guess you too.[:)]

If you want, you can try yourself with this scen which is upload in the sandbox of the scenario bank.

I have the administrator rights on the computer (I hope), it's my personnal computer.

Found it.

The answer is very simple.

The name of the scenario is used in naming the screenshot file.

You used a ":" character in the title.

That is not allowed for file-names.

hence the bug.

rename your scenario and bug should be gone.

Vic
