Hey guys:

I think we have found the root of the upgrade issues (Jumping units)! Please clean your battles directory out before you upgrade (Obviously complete your battles first). The problem is that some left over battle files are relocating units in the upgrade so simply delete all of the battle files (in the current game) then you should be OK!

If we have all already upgraded, just go ahead and clean those files out anyway?

What you'll probably find is that to correct units that have jumped, you will need to clean your Battles folder and then reload any 1.04 format games you have -- recover these from the latest host backups if you need to. In all of the games that I am hosting that had the jumping corps problem, this is what fixed the problem.
