Campaign PBEM

Post by sabre1 »

This has probably been asked a million times, so dreadfully sorry for asking again.

Can you play the campaign PBEM, and if so what version?

Thanks for any reply.

I remember now..or should I say I read this..
[;)]

Start in solitaire mode and start the campaign.
After you buy your core force, go on to buy your support units. if there is any.
Deploy
DO NOT AUTO DEPLOY
Quit Deploy
DO NOT START YOUR TURN!!
Save
Now exit the game and rename the saved game to a scenario slot.
Start SPWAW in pbem mode and start the scenario
Save your password and send the game files to you opponent.

Good luck**

Sabre: This will not work with the MEGAS, only the generated ones in the game.

It was a good idea. Additionally, if you were coherent enough to type out how to do it accurately, the moment needed saved and drawn to other peoples' attention... [:'(]

This is merely an attempt to play a "campaign type" battle against a Human Opponent.
It consists of only one battle. I know of no way to create a multi-battle campaign for PBEM except by means of a set of linked scenarios but they would not be scored cumulatively.
They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.
