Nice.  Large ship models are intriguing, but boy do they take up space!

At the Nuremburg Toy Fair last year, someone introduced a 1/72 scale Bismarck model in injection molded plastic.  Haven't heard anything more since though.  It was enormous.

Awesome!!! Definitely a labor-of-love. Very impressive, although the paint job on the TBMs could have been alot better, well, the F6Fs too, but I bet he had someone else do those.

The most fascinating part to me were the dolphins/porpoises racing the bow!!! How cool!!!! I've never seen that modeled before! [&o]

Here is a link to more pictures of the model. Somebody posted a feature a year or so ago that opened up pages showing all this guy's amazing work. If I find it again I'll add a link to this thread.
