where's the guard?

I posted this at Mantis, but wonder if others are seeing it too; maybe I'm just missing something. I don't see any way to commit the guard in 1.05.04. Did this get reworked in some way?

Installed 1.05.05, but I'm still not seeing the guard.

It's still there; I just verified. Remember to reset your options after installing a patch. The default is for no guard commitment, so you probably didn't change this?
