It works! ... - and doesn't...

It is possible to produce specific armement on ne map. Not via replacement rate or via armement/vehicle points but by adding the armement to a base like this:

Six days later, it looks like this in the resource pool:

This factories repair like usual factories and they can be bombed. They can't be upgraded and as I don't know whether (and how much) they need HI, this is important. If they don't upgrade automatically, it should be only used for devices that are used throughout the war.

BUT:
As I tested it with the Type 2 light Tank (device 303) - nothing happend. 303 is available at 4112, so it should produce. I really can't say why 302 works and 303 not.
But as you see now, it works (sometimes) fine but requires further testing.

I don't know what happens when this factory gets captured.
I don't know whether it upgrades.
I don't know how much HI this factory needs.

So if anyone tested it and has results: Feel free to share it here :)

WTIP code is full of tests - if you fail a test - it won't happen. So only if all tests are passed will production occur.
Tests might include things like enough HI points - and that is semi global - once your total is expended - it is going to wait for the next day. It is also local - that is - HI points seem to be consumed in the same hex first.

Upgrading should occur on the date the device upgrades. It is a simple subsitution of the device for its replacement.

You should test if the tanks are really used from the pool by new units or units which receive replacements. I'm afraid these factories produce large pools to look at, but outfitting the LCUs still uses the vehicle pool, not the device pool (at least for Japan).
