RHSEEO 7.957 - Japanese LBA

I have just looked at this scenario and after running turn 1, I see that there are no LBA fighters in the Marshalls that can island hop to Hawaii. There should be a daitai of Zeros there and some army planes loaded on AKs and included in a TF that is moving to reinforce the initial push into eastern Pacific, IMO. It is 23 hexes from the Marshalls to Johnson Island. Too many planes cannot make that hop.

Edit - I did not see any planes loaded on the TF in the eastern Pacific by moving the cursor over the TF and then clicking on the TF themselves. I found some fighters only by clicking on the individual ships. I did not know it was possible to double load an AK (planes and LCU).

El Cid,
There are some errors for upgrades. Under "Ship Classes" there is the Kongo (505) that has the 14" with LS. There are the Ise (513 & 514) with 14" on RS.

This is correct. There are two air groups of fighters embarked on ships bound for the Central Pacific: a squadron of pre production Ki-44s and an entire group of Me-109s. There is also a group of Ki-47s - Army variants of the Kate - actually B5M1s - which so far exist only in YPO. [They are similar to the Kate - so similar they historically had the same code name - but they have more range. They will eventually be a separate type in RHSAE - assuming there is one.]

Other groups assigned to the operation include Ki-49 units (all pre production - two recon detachments and two squadrons), a group of Ki-21s and a group of Ki-48s - all of which can make the hop to Johnston Island from the Kwajalein base complex (I recommend using Maleolap to minimize losses in transit).

Taken together these air elements represent a vital componant of the operation. This is a minimal force - and I am astonished that Shark has elected to attempt the op without using them (instead using only KB and floatplanes). Using JAAF air units relieves the JNAF in general - and carrier air in particular - of the burdon of entirely reducing the enemy in this area.

This is also correct - that is - you are right and described the erratta correctly.
The same errors are also in EBO and MEBO (scenarios 74 and 68 respectively).
