For all, ask what you will need help ... it is not so easy game, but your time will be returned ...

Btw. for start, easiest way is play simple economy and choice instant battles (so play without tactical battles). You will learn strategy part, diplomacy, moving armies and complete armies ... first battles play instantly ... than you can continue campaign and use quick or the best, divisional/brigade level battles ... good luck !!!

Well I'll take some time to prepare and learn the game... But I'm definetely looking to play this by PBEM...

Ok. I tried one tactical battle and lost horribly, but that was expected without even knowing what I could do. Well, well. One question. How are the turns done in the PBEM ? Everyone plans and then they are all executed ?

There's only instant combat tough...

Both right ... all play their part, last people merge it ... and sure, PBEM only instant battles

PBEM plays fast and fun. Of course, as with all PBEM games, the speed of the turns is dependent upon the players getting them done and emailed to the last player, who merges all of the turns and generates the resulting files (which he then sends out to all the players for the next turn).

In play-testing I played Spain and was the last player usually, so I can assure you its easy once you do it one turn and get the swing of it.
