If I initiate a convoy from a port in a nation such as Sweden that has Resources/Production Points that I need with a destination as a home port will that suffice in getting me the PP's?

Or do I need to convoy from the actual location city of the PP's?

Port to port is fine, but be sure to change the type of the convoy from supplies to PP.
