Same game dunno

If this game is the same as the original it must have a lot of icing on top. I remember when the original came out, my town was not gifted enough to have broadband. Yes 56k modems were still in mode here.I went to a retailer and bought a 500 meg memory stick (which my daughter now uses for school), the retailer D/L COG onto the stick for me. I betcha there wouldn't to many kind folk that would that these days. Incidentally that retailer has gone out of business, a bit sad really. I'm D/L now, but have wait to after midnight to get a new allocation of B/w, so I won't be playing before tomorrow.

Yes, things have swelled a bit in size since the original COG. The physical version for this is actually three CDs!

The game id not "grow" that much : total is 1.5GB (instead of 600MB or so for CoG1), but 650 MB are for the vid tutorials, the "real" game is thus approx "only" 850 MB [:)].

Yes, but the tutorials are still part of the whole

On first glance it doesn't look like much has changed from the original. Start screen is the same etc. But when you get into it everything plays much smoother. This is much more than 'just an upgrade'. I didn't play the original much because as a casual gamer it was so hard to remember all the rules and set-up. This is lightyears ahead in that regard as it is now a game you can pick up without needing to re-read the rule book each time.

So, if I produce a game I should make sure the file sizes are large?[;)]

DVDs are in the works, but the store isn't setup for them yet on the "physical on demand" side. If all goes well, later this year it should be possible.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that as this kind of response is one of the things we were aiming for.
