This game was started in 1.05.03. The French 1st Corps has disapeard and is missing from the roster page. It is also not available in the counter list. Here is a copy of the game. All players are on 1.05.03.

Will an upgrade to 1.05.05 bring the corps back?

Sounds a bit like bug 372 on Mantis (fixed at 1.05.00 ?)

Was this during setup ?

Made it through most of the Janurary phase. I moved it during the land phase as France, but I did go first.

I loaded this game in debug mode and found that the French I corps is gone all together??? Not even in this game. Can you tell me specifically when this happened? Maybe get me your game right before it happens?
 
 

The best I can determine is that it happened after the Jan French Land phase and before the Jan Austrian Land phase. There was a battle during Turkey's land phase between Turkish forces and the 2 Egyptian corps controlled by England. I did move the game to 1.05.05 and used the AI to auto turn until the French Jun reinforcement phase, but the 1st corps never was available to buy or place and the forces just disapeared.

I only have the auto backup for Jan and I did a backup for everyone during Austria's Jan land phase. I am also afraid I don't have the files between the Jan auto backup and the backup I did for everyone during Austria's Land phase. I have sent a message to my gaming group to see if anyone else has a saved copy before the corps disapeared. We are also in the process of restarting the game from scratch. I am just afraid of this happening again. I am hosting two games and my other game is doing fine. This is actually the second time this has happened, but I thought the first time it was related to the problem mentioned on the boards. The first time it disapeard during the Jan diplomacy phase. So we moved the game back to the French setup phase and restarted. I watched the game closely until the French land phase, and figured it was fine. But within the Russian and Turkish turns it again disapeared. I have tried to duplicate the problem on my own but it works fine on my machine.

Sounds alot like bug we have in Jena-Game, *Think host-Daniel send you the files Marshall, i gave him your official email".

But i can say that it happend in our game in setup-phase.
Acording to him he had 4 corps in Switcherland, but when backup my savegame and start i load game-start file and players setup files, it only show 3 French corps there.

Though we France did not notiche it was missing till Febuary.

I got the same problem with my corps 1 as France during setup in 1.05. Now I just Cant place it, its not on the map and not in the possibilities for reinf ! just impossible to use my best corps now. During setup, I lost my garisons in Milan, Mainz, Le Havre (with 5inf!), and Cologne, the others were ok.

Looks really like the other problem.

And the 1.05.05 didnt helped much.

I still have the problem, cant use my corps I, completely not available.
