Various Questions and a Request

First off my request. Would it be possible to have the amount of crew casualties caused by Marines to be listed seperately in the Damage Report? As it is right now it seems the only way to notice how much damage your marines are doing is to note the number that floats up over the enemy ship and then subtract the number shown in the Damage Report which lists only Long Gun and Carronade Damage, giving you a number that equals the crew damage done by your Marines.

Now for a few questions.

Naval Unit Morale:

When capturing enemy ships they start with a fairly low Morale score, somewhere between 2.5 to 3.5 is what I have seen. Do these naval units have a 50% chance to gain .15 morale after every victorious battle or .30 if their morale is below 4 in the same way that land units gain morale through victory? It wasnt noted in the detailed naval section of the manual and was curious if this worked the same way as land warfare.

Naval Unit Destruction:

When engaging in several combats in one turn (Nelsons fleet off Cadiz usually engages in 2 or more seperate battles with each French and Spanish fleet in the area on the first turn of every scenario if left in place rather than 1 "trafalgaresque" engagement with a combined fleet. In one game, in the first battle versus the French Fleet off Cadiz I had a SOL explode. However I believe the game does not officially remove the ship until the end of the turn. It was then present during the same turn in a second battle versus the Spanish fleet off Cadiz in a highly damaged but intact state. At the end of the turn it was not removed from play but was at a damage state of 6.

I have seen similar outcomes several times. This cant be intentional.

Brigade Level detailed combat:

How many individual Brigades of a Division need to be captured in order to remove that Division from the enemys OOB?

Thanks.

Naval Unit Destruction:

I'm not sure explosions actually get rid of the ship.  I've captured one that exploded...

If there is another battle in the same turn I havent ever still had an exploded ship stay on the map, if there is another battle whether it way my ship or a captured ship it shows up in the second battle as highly damaged and then survives the round.

Im pretty sure this is a bug, as a ship surviving a magazine explosion isnt plausible, but would like to hear an official word.

You should add this to the Wish List thread, so that it doesn't slip through the cracks.

Your questions are more for the programmer than for me, so I'll yield the floor to him.

I've put the marine report line on my to-do list.

There may be a bug with exploding ships; I'll look into that.

Ships do gain morale by the same formula as infantry.

Need to capture all brigades in general, though if the remaining brigade is very weak, then they'll lose the division because it is too weak.

Please check and see if theres a bug with all destroyed ships period.  I have now had ships that were sunk (hull reduced to nothing and graphic converted to floating rubbish) get captured and then reappear in a second battle that turn as highly damaged and then end up intact and captured at the end of the round.
