Is there anyway to become ordered again after having been disordered?

You need to move a little out of the way, rest and try to change formation (to column). Getting back into formation makes you "ordered" again. Its not always very easy, especially for cavalry.

most times you want to be out of sight/threat, during the night, Cav may get as high as 40%, it helps of they are not tired

Inf is normally pretty quick to come back
