I'm still keen on playng Russia for a wwiii game. I got lost on the other thread. Anyone interested? I could easily be persuaded to play some other scenario.

Got a mail today that I was not chosen as beta-tester for HiO3. [:(]
So have enough time now to start another AT game

[:)]
WaW (not Japan please [:D]) or WW3 would be great.

@ Lunaticus:
Ok, fine. So we have Germany, Russia and I would like to take West.
But which scenario? WaW or WWIII? Casus_Belli has asked for players in WWII and Lunaticus talked about WaW in his meanwhile deleted post, right? I am open for both. Havnt played West (WaW)/ USA (WWIII) in both scen.

I'm already in a waw game, so I would prefer WWIII. My turn turnover may be slow over the next couple of weeks, but should be ok after that.

What about ten Islands? Has anyone ever played it?
Or will I just go ahead and start a game WWIII as NATO? Could take a while for the first turn, anyway.

"Ten island"
Is it just a question or a suggestion to play that instaed of WWIII?
In case you want to play this as pbem, I am out. Sry, but I dont think it works playing in such a large group. Turns will take very long to turn round. And the scenario seems not so interesting to me.

Well, it was just a passing thought, but I'm game. Or see my edit above.

I might then take the USSR.
What kind of turnaround time are we looking at? I can normally manage to play in 24 hours, faster over the weekend (except today ...).

Ok, so I would like to take USA. Someone for China still missing.
A turn a day is possible on most days for me.

I'm confused.
Is Germany a player in WWIII?

I thought the setup would be:
US RufusTFirefly
NATO Casus_Bellu
USSR Lunaticus
China Open

That sounds cool to me, but I must warn you that I may be slow - a day or two or maybe three to turn over a move - for the next two or three weeks, due to the arrival of a new family member, but it should be ok after that. I don't mind if you want to go ahead without me - the mission is more important, damit ! If I get too slow later, maybe someone else can take over. With all those caveats, lets go! Who starts?

USSR could play China as well

I thought, the Soviets would be the bad guys. But the bad guy is you, Casus_Belli [:-]. You start the attack (NATO turn is first).
By the way, Casus you are right, Germany is no longer a super-power, but just normal member of the NATO, ... and of the Warshaw Pact. So, no matter who wins, Germany is on the winning side! [:D]
Current version is WWIIIv56, right?
