I am just getting into the game (with simple economy) and I have read the manual and used the F1 key however I have a question which I have not been able to find any answer. My question is I am trying to form a new army/corps with a new general and I cannot figure this out. I have my existing armies/corps. Am I limited into only using the ones that are in game and cannot make any new (which does not seem to make any sense). If someone could please explain in simple terms how to do this (if it is possible) as I simply cannot figure this out. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to build an army or corp in a province then you can put divisions into it once it's on the map.

Army and Corps are "built" in province/towns just like other units. You have to have a certain number of Barracks in the town to be able to build the HQ containers. Hold cursor over Barracks icon in Province management screen and it'll tell you how many you need. Find the one with at least that many, and Army/Corps will be available build options, though until you have enough of the required resources in your national stockpile ($, Labor, etc.) you won't be able to build them.
