TCP/IP Detailed Battles

I hope you guys will give some serious thought to make detailed battle scenarios played over TCP/IP.
The detailed battle system in this game is incredible. A detailed battle multiplayer environment would really shine and its really unfortunate that it doesnt exist.
I hope I can gather a petition or something to make this top priority as far as future WCS products.

Thanks! We're definitely considering it. It depends partly on how sales of COG:EE go, to be honest. We'd like to do a game like this with historical battles, but would want to be reasonably confident that it would sell.

Well, I wish I could buy 10,000 copies and MUS would get his TCP/IP games and I would get some upgrades I would like. But no real complaints here yet.

I just got this game last weekend. Not a complaint at all but I didfind myself thinking "it would be nice to be able to throw some historical battles into the detailed combat module" I mean a canned Austerlitz would be great

among others you could just fire it up straight into detailed combat and go with it.

Now THAT is a great idea Mark. Hell, even I would have to play them then. At the moment I don't bother and do "instant battles" instead.
However, I do really recommend that they put some serious effort into completely debugging the game first.

NOT that it has many bugs. But they have really turned off some people who I used to play with. This seems to be a thing of the past as far as my games have gone. But I must STRESS that it doesn't seem this game has any more "bugs" than any major release in the industry anymore. One or two patches (with some diligent effort from both the programmers AND the fans who report them) should turn this into a AAA wargame. At this time, I give it a 9/10. And like I said, IMHO it is just as "stable" as Total War: Medieval 2 when it first appeared.

I don't know how your sale are going, but you sure seems to have created a nice buz on this forum about the game
I'm really enjoying it. If you ever consider doing a game about detailed battle, and Austerlitz is to be included... I can't stress enough that you should look at Bowen Simon's game on the subject (for the unique way in wich he force the allies to attack in the early hours of the battle.). And anyways, I can't stress enough that EVERYONE should just buy that game (gosh, I feel bad saying it, but for me it's even better than this game!). It looks splendid, and is such a blast to play. On top of that there is a Vassal module to play it PBEM!!!!! And I got Lion Rampant to stock that product too
