2-5-43: Aussies displace IJA from laelae after 4 days of pitched battle.  in other news the jap long range LBA did heavy damage to fast trans at Irau w/ a loss of 33 planes in one day. Most amazing was a p39 sqn (41stFS) at Irau set at 30%cap at 1000ft scoring 16 kills on incoming nell/betties.
