What happens when West and Italian fronts collapse for the last and final time. What effects are there on the game?? Do they really mean anything. Should we ignor them?
I've never been to a point where they effect the game other than we are 'supposed to' keep them stocked with divs and air. If i gave them nothing what would happen?

I'll do a test with the '44 scenerio to check but coments would be interesting.

Actually, you need to watch those fronts. For some reason the Italian Front kept shattering on me, and I had the Allies in Austria before I knew it, and with the next shatter - lost the game.

This was the first time I ever saw the Allies get to Berlin (from Italy no less) and win the game instead of the Russians.

That's right, have too many events and the game "ends" with the Allies reaching Berlin. You can tell when the final event is getting close by the location - if most of Italy is out of Axis control, or the Westwall is reached in the West, the end is near in either location.

Thanks Ricky. I'm playing a modified version of your '42 attack scenerio with Pirate and as the germans found that there was fighting north of rome right at the start.
I guess i better shore up the Italian front if i dont want allied troops doing a reverse Hannibal Barca on me.

Loki,

Ouch, that is not good. The front should start in Africa, and I just checked my original version and that is where it is in it. However, I have heard in at least one other case where someone (Mist) created a scenario and somehow one of the fronts was "pushed" back to one of the other positions. At least at first even Arnaud had no clue what to do about it to fix it, and I can't remember if he did fix it or not. Definitely not something easy to change up front or fix after it does somehow change. I don't think any of the scenario editors expose this property, as it may by one that is extremely hard to find.
