Allied CV penalty

In original manual it was stated, that Allied CV is worth 3 CV pts, versus 2 for Japs.
1. Is this still true?
2. IMHO, that wrong.
After radar appeared – and that's 1942 for Allies – the coordination became better than that of Japs.
Radar is useful not only in detecting enemy AC, but also in coordinating your side.
I think that Allied CVs after 42 should be 2 CV pts – as IJN CVs.

I agree, but again, I think that data is not editable in the game.
At least US carriers count only 75% for the CAP penalty in 43-44-45.
Sure about 43?

Umm… Are you sure about 43? The rulebook errata says 44-45.
BTW – it's unclear whether it is for the purposes of CAP only, or for ALL carrier operations – both CAP & strikes.
The exact text is:
Carrier Combat Operations:
To determine the amount of fighter protection above carriers (Combat Air Patrol),
the computer makes two die rolls.
In 1944 and 1945 any US CVs have their CV points multiplied by .75
to simulate the efficiency of US carrier coordination.
The formula is: if 6+Random(8) < CV points, then CAP is halved.

You're right, it's in 44-45 only.
Well, I guess it's 1 more thing to fix in 2.4

Well, I guess it's 1 more thing to fix in 2.4. Jeremy, can we hope to see it in 2.4?
