Hi- If, when a new CVE with VR units arrives at SFO, you check "no replacements" for each unit, will those VR units fly missions such as CAP, naval strike, etc.? Assuming the total units do not exceed CVEs capacity.

Yes. They'll fly missions if they do not exceed the capacity.
