Printing the manual without the border?

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the background image (the back border) from the PDF file, or perhaps invert the image? I can convert the PDF to PostScript and I have access to the "distill" program but I have never used it before.

Regards,

I don't think you can change it in Acrobat. Could MatrixGames please post a PDF without the border? I printed out the pages with the weapon comparisons and the paper curled due to all the ink in the border. I don't think the border adds anything to the final product.

It would be nice also if the manual had the technology tree and weapon/shield comparisons in a nice compact table at the end of the document.

More importantly, there needs to be some sections covering how to so basic things - Changing from pacify to encourage unrest and inform me when production is done are two great examples. You just have to play around with the UI until you find these things

So far, the manual is the worst part of the game.

Ive got a Lexmark z31 inkjet and didn't have any paper curl problems -used zerox 4024 premium paper
paper curl usually results from low quality paper.

It did however, take alot of ink,I still havent finished about 20 percent of it.
