Outlank - bug

I'm having several problems with the outflank interface

1) when I get an "attacker create your outflanking force" I can't work what I need to do to move a corp into it

2) the interface reveals the defensive chit before the division between the outflanking and pinning forces has been done

For #1, an example or two would  help us understand the issue.

I've not noticed #2 before, although I've not played for a couple months, so maybe something changed. I suggest posting a saved game of that one.

Actually, I think #2 has always been the case, at least against the AI. (I'm not sure about human v. human.) It doesn't make you split up the force until both chits have been revealed.

For #1, did you try double-clicking the corps you want to move?

This has always been the case.

It's a pretty major change from the boardgame to allow the outflanking force to split after knowing the chit pulled.

Yep. Our battles always went:

Did either of you pick Outflank? If yes, then the forces get split (when necessary).

Neverman has the correct idea here. The split of forces should be done without knowing the opponent's chit pick.

Defensively, my split would be very different vs escalated assault than it would be against echelon.

Offensively, my split would be very different vs escalated counterattack than it would be against withdraw (when you may only get one round).

I will look to change this but this will NOT be in 1.06.

That's good, Marshall. Especially the not in 1.06 part.
