Area of Mantua

Hi to all.
Just installed 1.06 BETA and tried an 1812 Russian campaign as France.
Venetia is a french Freestate but the Area of Mantua is under Control of Austria and i can't place a build venetian garrison in this city

Do you have more specifics? How did France gain control of Venetia?

I've seen this too. France has Venetia at the beginning of the 1812 scenario, but Mantua is listed as Austrian-controlled, so looks like a problem with the initial state. You can sometimes even see Austrian orange over Mantua in the thumbnail map.

ndrose, you are absolutely right.
i didn'd start a "normal" campaign, so i don't know if this will be the same.
i also saw an orange Mantua at thumbmap.
