The tactical symbol for the sIG of the 12SS Panzer is wrong. Other symbols (Flak) seem to be brighter than others. I came across this in the single battle for Buron.

That's sort of odd Korsun. When I open that battle on my end attached is what I see. That means we're going to need more details from you in order to find out what's causing the problem. First, I trust you installed the game to the default directory and did not install manually somehow? Also what were the settings you used on the battle in the battle realism settings? Also are you able to make this happen every single time or did it only happen that once?

You can recreate the problem by just swapping out a few squads and adding in those support units;

Ok thanks Tejszd. I know for a fact that there is an SS version of the 2cm flak 38 in the forcepools so that's likely just needing a change in data to point to the correct team.

The allied team icon was used as a placeholder/flag to warn us when a BG icon had not been created or indicated in the data so that was likely either a data error (since I know the SS verison of 15cmsIG33 and 8.8cm Flak icons are in the scrngadg) or the data never got updated to reflect the added icons.

We'll get it fixed. Thanks for helping find the source of the problem.

Looking at the crew (soldier screen) the gun crews are SS...so must be a mixup in the BG Icon used.
BTW, I've also just noticed that SS Panzer crews are using regular infantry SS ranks and not the Black Panzer "Ranks graphics" used in CCWAR.

SS Panzer crews do have Panzer Black. But with heer insignia.

Nice find, Korsun!  I haven't really checked the German ranks in the battle screens...since I've been playing as Allies mostly.
Actually my post was about the Soldier Screen...SS panzer crews ranks graphics in the Soldier Screen shows Waffen-SS infantry ranks/uniforms instead of "Panzer black" with SS insignia...so looks like they're also wrong in the Battle Screens.
Probably a slight mixup in Team coding and gadget graphics.

Both command and regular mark IV have waffen ss uniforms and ranks as shown below. The Command panther A also has this error, as well as having the wrong Icon.





I suggest a complete check up of the icons beofre the eventual release of a patch [:)]

Very simple issue to fix. It's in the data files.  The data is not pointing to the correct icons.  I'm certain of it.  The reason you're seeing mixed ranks is because the one command tank you have in that BG is a heer command tank and not a SS command tank.  That is a fix that's needed in the forcepools.   That tank shouldn't be showing up in that BG at all afaik.

Jim, I don't think the problem is in the FP files...that is a Waffen-SS Command Tank...not Heer...just coded wrong in the data.
There's an extra Nation slot for German SS Tank Crews (Nation 6)...and this slot isn't utilized properly in the data files.
Check the Nations and Style data in AxsTeams.txt...change them for SS Panzer Crews to 6 and 0...and you should now have the correct ranks/insignia graphics.
I haven't double checked the soldier uniforms colors for the Panzer crews...but if the values in uniforms.txt are the same as CCWAR...then they should be Panzer black.

Thanks Squadleader.  That's what I meant.  There is a heer version of a command tank and a SS version of a command tank in the data files. 
 
Thanks for the tip on the ranks.  We were already aware of that.  We actually have most of these fixes done already.  We need to do testing before we can release them though.

You're right...looks like there are some FP issues with the SS BG in the screenshots above.
Please recheck the Style code for that Heer Command Panther also...they're using Waffen-SS infantry insignia.

RE: SS ranks - Yeah we saw that and Steve fixed already.[;)]  The proper rank insignia exist within the gadg files the data just wasn't pointing to them.  Thanks.
